Full information of what you should do
before and after the procedure
Laser hair removal involves using a laser to heat the small cavities in the skin (follicles) that the hair grows out of. This damages the follicles, which prevents hair growing.
Each treatment may take between 15 minutes to over an hour. Your eyes must be protected with specially designed goggles during the procedure, and you may experience some pain. The area may be red with a raised rash for up to 24 hours afterwards.
The number of treatments needed depends on the area to be treated and the system that’s used. A course of treatments, which can last up to a year, may be needed before the area is fully clear of hair.
The results of laser hair removal are usually long lasting, but not permanent.
Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun after laser hair removal, so you should avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a week after treatment. You may need to use sun cream for up to a month once your skin heals.
Since childhood I was having these protruding ears. All my classmates used to make fun of me and tease me by calling them ears of a bat. I came to know from the internet that actually I was suffering from “Bat Ears”. After thorough homework I came across Dr.Rahul Tandon and got operated from him. He operated me under local anesthesia and sent me home the same day. Now my ears look like any other normal looking ears and I don’t have to worry about anybody.
